When attending / donating for an event, it is important that you:
1) Sign in on paper at the event or in the office at the school. The school requires logs of who is in the building and we use this to verify time submissions if there are any discrepancies
2) Fill out the appropriate google form (time or donation - see links below)
3) If you are submitting a donation, your receipt must also be emailed to jeptodonations@jcsdk12.org
Online Sign up & Logs
Use this link to sign up with our organization. Once your information is received, you will be emailed further instructions and your username.
Use this link to log your time spent volunteering at the school or during events. Your username is used for both the volunteer and the designated sub-volunteer.
Use this link to submit donations. Please email receipts to jeptodonations@jcsdk12.org The secretary team will change your cash total into time based on the chart below. Your username is used for both the volunteer and the designated sub-volunteer.
What do I need to know?
If you are interested in chaperoning field trips and attending special events with your child's class, it is necessary for you to track your activities at the school. We have attempted to make a uniform system that is easy to navigate for time and donation tracking.
For all time spent volunteering at a school event/classrooms, as well as any donations made to the school / your child’s classroom, information needs to be logged into our tracking system. Submissions are tracked based on your time. We track your time throughout the year and those with the most time are contacted first for events. Donations are converted based on the “Donation Conversion Chart” (see below)
Time accrual happens from March 1 of the previous year until the last day of February the current year.
You must attend 5 in-person events to be considered for events (PTO meetings DO count).
If you are not interested in attending events and just want to help, you do not need to log your time or donations. This will mean that you will NOT be eligible for chaperone duties. (However, you still need to sign up so we can track your clearances)
You can appoint ONE person as your sub-volunteer to help you accrue time. This person functions as a teammate for your time accrual. When it comes time to choose chaperones, only ONE person per team can attend unless more volunteers are needed for the event and nobody else can help. Your sub-volunteer cannot be anybody else’s sub-volunteer.
If you are unable to submit your time / donations electronically, please reach out to the secretary and paper forms will be provided.
If you are a parent that works a ton of hours or a stay at home parent that can't leave the house during the day because of your other children, please reach out! We have event prep activities that can be done at home on your own time, we have events in the evenings and on the weekends that we always need help for, and there are tons of other opportunites to get time in. We are here to help and will work with anybody willing to work with us!
All Volunteers and sub-volunteers are encouraged to sign up and submit online.
